Energy takes many forms, such as love, affection, appreciation and recognition, material possessions, money, friendship, etc. and the principles apply equally to all these forms. If you look around you at those who are most unhappy, you'll find they are often people who have a "starved" feeling in some way, and are therefore in a very grasping posture toward life. They feel that life in general and other people in particular are not giving them what they need. It is as if they have a stranglehold on life, trying desperately to wring out the love and satisfaction they crave, yet actually choking off the supply. And many of us have a little of this tendency.

Life is energy and energy flows. I can allow in good energy or bad energy. I can stagnate at times where energy doesn't seem to be flowing in or out, good or bad. Then, I remember. It's my choice. What will I choose today?

Good to see a post from you. Loe the statues....looks like something in Ireland!!! A lot of thought in that message. People can either choose to be happy or sad etc. etc. etc. and I find it is the truth. All perspective.
That sculture has sooo much energy. It reminds me of one I remember seeing in downtown Phoenix on a day when it was up over 110 degrees in the shade. You just looked at it and wondered, "How can they have so much energy when it is sooo hot out here?"
I wish we could store up our excess energy on days when we feel great, and just take a sip of it on those other days that crop up every now & then. Ah, but without the ups AND the downs, we would not be truly alive, right?
absolutely... let it flow.

Wow! Robbie I love that statue! Wonderful post, I have certainly learned the difference between negative and positive energy. Things can be handled so much better when we lesrn to untwist that reflex to react negatively. :)
.....see.......blaaaaaaghhhhhh.
Beautifully stated, Robbie. Life is all about choices. That's why some people, regardless of circumstance, always seem to seek the positive and good and find contentment, while others will not be made whole by any amount of good fortune. They remain, as you say, 'starved.'
I suspect that most people are about as happy as they choose to be.
PS ~ ~ I know those statue girls. Now that's positive energy! ;D
ahhh....
substance.
I just ate it right up.
starving right now I guess
for some insight and creativity.
::burp::
