Would you like some cheese with your whine?

I opened this screen to whine about how my curse goes unbroken because I've been sick all week with a horrible bug that has taken over my mucus membranes and achy joints. Then, whine some more about how I'm exhausted and for once actually got to sleep by about nine something last night, only to wake wide awake at two in the morning and not be able to fall back asleep until after four, right before my alarm clock went off at five something. But, a couple of news reports just flashed on the tube that makes me feel pretty darn grateful. It's hard to be down when you compare your life to someone else's who has it much worse. Hey! I have a place to live and I'm not in the hospital with a gun shot wound, nor am I humping up a desert dune in Iraq. Life is good!

Someone always is worse off than we are Robbie. That's just life. Doesn't make our problems any less to us though!
I hope you feel better soon!

I am allergic to whine/wine, but I will take a nice gouda any time.

I have been fighting the nasty bug for a few weeks, I think it is all of so cal. <----I'm so cool calling it that. LOL!

Take care, push fluids, get lots of rest. I'm sorry.

In this hand is a bowl of virtual chicken soup. In the other hand is a great big whoppin' margarita. Take one, or the other, or both; then take to your bed, pull the covers up over your head, and get better. Immediately.

Sometimes the whining gets us to that point of gratitude. Now get over it. :P Yeah, like I'm one to talk.

I had wine last night and now my hands are paying for it. Allergies. Blah! Wahhhhhh!

Geez, honey, I'm sorry to hear you're still not feeling well! I can't even recommend my favorite cold remedy anymore ~ Trish said it was being recalled for being toxic or lethal or contraband or something.

But you're right about seeing good fortune as the best cure for the 'whineys' ~ no matter the problem, it could always be worse. So Carpe (the slightly woozy diem) Diem!

You have a riveting web log
and undoubtedly must have
atypical & quiescent potential
for your intended readership.
May I suggest that you do
everything in your power to
honor your encyclopedic/omniscient
Designer/Architect as well
as your revering audience.
As soon as we acknowledge
this Supreme Designer/Architect,
Who has erected the beauteous
fabric of the universe, our minds
must necessarily be ravished with
wonder at this infinite goodness,
wisdom and power.

Please remember to never
restrict anyone's opportunities

existence for their quintessence.
