Monday Ramblings

Work has been crazy. By the end of the day Friday, I was laughing like a fool every time some other problem arose. Probably because if I didn't laugh I would have started crying. I'm not looking forward to today. Ha..this week. I wish I could talk about specifics here but I just don't feel comfortable revealing work related stuff anymore. Even when it's crazy, I love my job and wouldn't want to lose it because of something that I wrote here.

It's hard for me to write about anything much when I'm tired. So, maybe I'll just turn this into a photo journal until things chill out. This is a picture of my friend, Debbie's dog, Bruiser. When he is sleepy, he grabs his Scooby dog in his mouth and hugs it until he falls asleep. I guess it's a security blanket for him. I wonder if he'd let me borrow it this week.

It's sad about Johnny Carson. I've missed him ever since he left the Tonight Show. I had hoped he would return to television for something. Now, that won't be so. I picture Peter standing at the pearly gates and looking over his shoulder and saying to the hosts of heaven "Here's Johnnnnnnnnnny!"

Are you still struggling along at work without enough help?  I seem to recall you writing awhile back that you were having trouble hiring someone to take someone's place...or something.  If this is the case, get on the stick and get that person hired and trained!  My husband is doing this same dance at work, ends up doing everything himself and comes home exhausted.  He says it's easier to do it himself than it is to train somebody.  I tell him that, as department manager, his job is to be MANAGING, not doing everything by himself.  I keep telling him that the short -term investment in a really good employee is worth ten times its weight in long-term benefits.  He blows me off (which I'm sure you will, too!  :-D)

Anyway, try to take care of yourself!  Lisa  :-]

aww, so sad your feeling...sad, overwhelmed.  I hate days like that.  But, trudge through we must.
cute picture of the doggie and scoobie :D
and yes, I was shocked when I heard about Johnny Carson, he was/is a great and funny man.  had me in tears most times I watched him, laughter is one thing I treasure very highly in this world.  :(

I was so saddened to learn he died. I loved Johnny and no one ever really took his place. He was unique and endearing.

Hope your week isn't too stressful.

Ok, so you have a bit of writers block. So what, we all do and we all get over it. Just go with the flow. Hugs Lanny

Photos are always the perfect fall back.  Take a break if you need one.  This pic is wonderful....we all need something to hug for comfort once in a a while.

I hope everything settles down a bit.  Hey...today is the OFFICIAL Most Depressing Day of the Year.  It's all sunshine from here...

How sweet. We had a little poodle mix. She totally loved the little stuffed dog they got me when I had my tonsils out. She literally loved that stuffed pup to shreds. LOL

For some reason i thought Carson died 15 years ago. So this was a shocker to me when I found out. Mourning all over again. Debbies dog is such a cutie padoodie

BRUISER! Uh-hah-hah-hah! Your friend Debbie has quite a sense of humor. And what a sweet little doggy poo.

I'm sorry about Johnny Carson, too. There will never be another Johnny, will there?

Damn girl with lines like that you could almost fill his shoes.....

I loved Johnny Carson...He taught me to love the one-liner at a very early age..

What a loss.

That doggy is sooooooooo cute I want to steal him!

Hope things improve for you soon!

Awwww - Bruiser!!  Awwww...soooooo cute.  I wanna meet Bruiser!

Get some rest.  You're gonna need it for the weekend. :P

What the hell, Robbie? Just cry. I've done it, and I'm better for it. It put my boss on notice (a man) that I am a woman living on the edge and I am not to be messed with. Again.

And while you're at it, just think of everything that upsets you and pour it on. A good work-cry can last for hours.

Ohhh... that's one thing I DON'T miss about working -- all those work related "issues".  UGH.  LOL  I love the idea of Peter announcing Johnny at the Pearly Gates.  ::smile::

I know how those work weeks go... it'll get better (kow!) :)

And that security blanket has got to be the cutest thing.  My mom's dog has this lil orange ball he takes *everywhere*, but the hugging and falling asleep with Scooby...that is too cute. :)
