Getting a little Christmasy

I made a little progress on the card front tonight. But, I've resigned myself to the fact that these cards will be late. But, you know what? I'm sending them out anyhow. Blah!

I thought about just sending out the store bought ones I have from years past that I bought and never managed to get sent out. But, I have several different holidays stamps that I have yet to use. And, this way I get to be a little artsy while accomplishing a dreaded task. Hey, they're going to be late anyhow. So, what does it really matter. Hmmm...I wonder if there are any other conjunctions I can use before I'm done writing?

Is it the new year yet? Nah, I don't want to rush it because that would mean my vacation was over. Two more days until it starts. Wooweeeee!!!

I WANT to send out cards...but there's no way I'm getting them out before Christmas.  I think I'm going to send New Year's Cards...seriously.  Besides the fact that I couldn't get cards out by Christmas to save my life, New Years is a holiday EVERYBODY celebrates.  Much more "PC..."  Lisa  :-]

I just got my cards in the mail yesterday, a stack of about 40.  They'll make it on time, I'm sure.

I think the card is adorable. I like getting cards late. It extends the holiday, so I'm sure your friends will too. : )

I got my cards out on time this year and was so excited!  That is until I realized I forgot to send cards to about 5 people that I needed to, so now their cards will be late.  Sigh!  It is always too good to be true when I think I am all organized.
Hugs and love, Lisa

Awww!  what a cute card!!!   ((( you have my address, RIGHT??!!! )))   >smirk<  I agree:  SEND THEM WHENEVER!  I don't mind getting cards after Christmas day, or for New Year, I actually think Happy Holiday/ Happy New Year cards are terrific!!!  I'm sure everyone will appreciate them just as much!  Try not to think of it as a dreaded task...

I think I'm going to make some Happy New Year cards myself!!

Well, after all of the Holiday hype, getting a card in January would be a treat. In fact, I'm thinking about sending out Beat The January Blues cards. I wonder if Hallmark has a card for that?

Past christmases I made the cards I sent.  This year I bought them.

I have sent out new years cards instead of christmas cards also.

Better late than never, I say!  I'm the type who will just throw the cards away if it gets too close and I'm afraid it won't get there in time.  Kudos to you for following through!  [Speaking of cards and all that, watch your box!  :D]
