I don't know if anyone else has this problem but it's hard for me to write after I haven't for a while. I wanted to make an entry yesterday but just didn't feel motivated to. I still don't. There's lots of stuff I could write about. I keep a running list in my head of stuff but it just won't come out. So, I figure I just need to put something down so I can break the ice and get back on track.
I haven't been online much lately because of my back being out of whack. It feels better if I don't sit in one place for too long. So, I've been tinkering around my apartment trying to get some stuff done that I've been neglecting. My life has also been over-the-top busy lately in other areas. It will only get more intense for the next week or so as I prepare to go on vacation. I've also spent a lot of time with Freee the last couple of days. She's doing incredibly well and has posted an update on her journal with pictures. She's a real trooper. I don't think I would be quite so amicable after having surgery.
When I came home Friday night, after visiting Freee, I had a message that I was being featured on MusicTalk. That was a nice surprise that I wasn't expecting. They are highlighting my entry "The Sound of Music," where I talked about music being the keeper of my memories. And, no, that would not be a picture of me there. It's Alicia Keyes. She's a gorgeous woman and so fricken talented. I can't say that I mind.
When I logged on to AOL yesterday morning to check my email, there was a video streaming on the Welcome Page. So I clicked on it to see what it's about. I found a cool little feature for those on Broadband. It's called MovieLink. You can download movies to your computer to watch. Some of them are even free for AOL members. So, I thought I'd test it out by downloading one of the free ones. It took a while to download, maybe an hour or so. But, you can watch it as it is downloading. I didn't though. I let it download while I went and did other stuff. Then watched some of it last night. It's pretty cool. I think I might download a movie or two for when I fly to Texas next week, instead of having to worry about carting DVDs with me. Now that I have the video glitch worked out on my computer, there's all kinds of new stuff that I'm finding that I can do with my computer. I'll share some more as I happen upon them.var sc_project=355626; var sc_partition=1;
