Poking my head in for a second

I only have a minute, probably not even that much time. I need to be on campus by 8 am this morning and I haven't even jumped in the shower yet. I'm copying the report I've been working on all week. The report that has kept me away from here.

I'm looking forward to the end of today. I'll come home and get some much needed rest. Then I'm going to be a reading fool trying to catch up on all the journals I've missed reading these last few days.

I received a book for Christmas called The Soul's Book of Answers by Carol Bolt. Each page contains words of wisdom from various people. The premise is that you hold the book and think of a question your soul is seeking and open the book to a random page for your answer.

Here's the answer:

The reverse side also has a reverse side.

-- Japanese Proverb

You come up with the question. :-)

Hi Robbie! Glad to see you're back...if only for a minute. =) I've been playing catch-up all week too. When Parker was sick, I didn't have time to do any reading at all. Good luck on your report!

p.s. I'd have to think for awhile to get a question to that answer. LOL

Wow . . . that question is going to require some thought . . . .and on a Saturday no less. No thinking allowed for me on a Saturday.

Oh, you're getting deep for a Saturday! I love books like that. What a great gift.
Hmm, now for the question?

Yin and Yang. Mutually dependant opposites that cannot live without the other.

That's my take on it. Interesting to see what someone else questions.

Hope you get much needed rest. I missed you too.
Love, Penny

WHAT A GREAT BOOK!!!! I will have to search for that for my Daughter. She loves books and this sounds like it would be a hit with her.

That sounds like a great book--just another I'll have to add to my list of "must get."

Hi. That sounds like a really cool book. Those kind interest me. My name is Jeri, by the way. Come see my journal, sometime.

You've been missed, Robbie!! Glad to know we'll have you back to ourselves soon. And I love the idea of a book of answers. The funny thing is, though, that I'm finding it awfully difficult to think of the question when I already know the answer. LoL

I would love a book like that...

Robbie!! We've missed you. I suppose by now you're done with your school-day and hopefully you've caught up on some much-needed rest. Come out and play when you can. [i see you've hit ALL of my latest entries. You're ON IT like a mad-woman!]

Bring on more quotes from the book you have! I have one that I use in a similar way. But it's a channeled book - with such depth and wisdom. Every time I open it, I get exactly what I need.

So glad you're back Robbie!!!! And the question to your answer is:

What is the sound of one virgin clapping?

Ah, never screw with a genius my dear. ROTFLMAO!!!

That's a thought provoking answer. What is the self?
