Here Ye!!! Here Ye!!!

I can't believe I actually figured this out. I think some of these journalling pros are wearing off on me. So this is the scoop: If you want to leave a long message on someone's journal who hasn't gone beta. ---Like mine. Not that I'm encouraging you to barf your guts out in my comments, or anything. But, you know, for the Queen of 2 parters like Andrea. I have a trick for you.

Go to my URL. Type beta. (be sure to put the period) just before journals and hit enter. Then leave your comment. You get the full 2000 characters. I'll prove it by leaving this entry in my comments. Go see. Sheesh, I'm glad Slo stopped by today. I think some of her brain power was left behind here. ;-)

Update: As I typed this entry above I thought: I wonder if I can do that to make longer entries too. So I went to my test journal and tried it out. Because, I try to heed the advice of those who have gone before me, like His1Desire, and I set up a test journal to do new stuff. And, guess what? It worked. I am typing in the new format. Did I sweat and strain and download crap. Heeel No!!! Woohoo. Now, I'm crossing my eyes that AOL won't find me out. ;-)

Hey krobbie that's great, WHOOO HOOO. Hey, I just wanted to say that I left an entry yesterday to let people that visit me to know that I can't keep AOL anymore....We have another server. I don't have a link anymore to my journal, but wanted to stop by to let you know. I wanted to say thanks for always dropping by and leaving such wonderful comments. Good luck with all you do krobbie, I will sadly miss you!

Hugs and love
Beverly

Glad you figured it out! Reminds me of how happy I was when I finally figured out how to add pics to my journal. It took me freakin' forever to get it to work out. It was all worth it though.

Robbie, this is exactly what I did to get my beta journal because someone told me to do it this way. Is there anything that we should have downloaded, or is this the beta journal everyone else has? Sorry if this is a stupid question...Karen

For some reason, I can't access Beta journals from my work computer anymore. At least not today. It wasn't until I got home that I was even able to read your entire message!

Hopefully the jinx lifts tomorrow because this could really cramp my STYLE!

I'm sending genius vibes your way right now... you WILL figure out more cool things like this! You WILL become the queen of AOL Beta Tips! You WILL sign me up for the chocolate of the month club! ::grin:: A girl's gotta try! I wouldn't be a genius, otherwise! :P

GREAT tip! I'm looking forward to all the neat things everyone discovers about beta journals! :)
