A Work In Progress

Another picture from the snow in Arizona to distract you from my words of nothingness:

I opened Blogger to actually post an entry then I got lost in the new templates. If I were smart I would create a test blog like Steven did to play around in but well I'm tired and not feeling so smart after a long day at work.

Okay, I'm lazy.

That's what it is really about. So much so, I don't even want to try and figure out how to get my sidebar frillies back. Not right now, anyhow. This shall be a work in progress. I'm hoping it won't take too long, but knowing me I'll still be doing it come next year.

My plan is to flip that stuff on the right back to the left. Add back all my standard sidebar stuff, see if there's any other bells and whistles to be had, and possibly get this color set up like my old journal. I realize most people like a plain white background. But, I've missed my blue walls. Perhaps, they'll inspire me to write more often. And, well, this is about me.

I'm having enough problems with blogger at the moment, I dare not start fiddling around with it...if I did anything is possible...like self-implosion!

Also I'm trying to learn how to use a new fancy digital camera I just received on Tuesday last...it's got enough bells and whistles on it to service every railroad company in the world! My mind is in overload trying to learn how to operate the creature that I don't need the added burden of changing my blog at the moment! lol

Gooc to have you back, Robbie. :)

Nice happy sign photo :-)
Start on the page elements and add widgets. The HTML and Javascript one is the widget where you can drop in copy and paste code. Most of my "stuff" is in the widgets.

The color controls on New Blogger are pretty good, but if you make a lot of tweaks in the CSS you break them.

The more I dig into New Blogger the more complicated it gets. It's a whole new way of doing things.

I did a test blog once, too. But I just couldn't get into the whole messing around with the templates thing. Which is probably why I went back to AOL. Just enough bells an whistles to keep me amused but nothing I have to think too hard about...

Have fun with your new toy...
