Two years ago the current administration used the election results as a justification to declare that a
mandate had been bestowed upon them. This year they've probably worked something out with
Diebold that the elections will reveal a divine sovereignty. I figured I'd spout my two cents in the voting booth and here before the fact. After all, you have no right to bitch if you don't exercise the right to vote.

Did you notice, or could it just be my county, that there were a very small amount of campaign signs?
And I have yet to get a button or a sticker.
I voted....I'm just glad all the negative stuff is off of the airwaves...well I should say negative campaign ads, still more negative stuff to deal with.
Congrats. The Dem's have been given the keys to the national bus.
Try to keep it out of the ditch this time.
Is it true then that you have no right to vote unless you exercise your right to bitch?
just wondering.
Good for you! c",)
I voted too ... Our local election was half good, half bad. Well, just like everywhere else, right? :-) I hope this means things will begin looking UP, we needed a breath of fresh air.
I love to vote. Voting is compulsory in Aussieland but I would still vote if it wasn't...as you say, Robyn...one has no right to bitch unless he or she votes. It is our democratic right...to bitch and to vote! ;)
blrnThat's my girl! :)
Hugs, Carly
