Round Robin Photo Challenge - Labor

I had the good fortune to select the topic for this round of the photo challenge.  I thought since it was so close to Labor Day, the word "Labor" would be a good theme. Holy freakin' cow! What was I thinking? I had such a tough time coming up with something. Then it dawned on me as I drove to work yesterday morning and I thought about what would be a good representation of the slave-driven labor performed by the bulk of America. As our nation becomes more and more service related and technologically advanced, more people use the computer at some point throughout their workday.

As such, I give you my interpretation of "Labor":

I couldn't decide which variation of the picture I liked best, so I thought I'd include them both.

P.S. That's not my sweaty hand. I found a hand model - real cheap. It's Hollywood afterall, everyone wants to be a star here. ;-)

Hmm...must be my mindset lately. I didn't think sweat, I thought tears. :-/

Very cool and true interpretation of "labor".  I was thinking of taking a pic of me just being a Mom but didn't think people would get it.  LOL!

HAH, I say. And ... beautiful and quirky interpritation of the challenge, as only you could do it.

Excellent challenge!  I like the color version; dramatic, a little garish.  I was thinking blood, sweat and tears ~ isn't that odd? Labor certainly HAS changed!   :)

That looks like the kind of labor I do ... except lately with the hurricane it has added a lot of mental strain to the job.  I wouldn't be surprised if my hand was really sweating at tmes!  Great pictures for the challenge.

Robbie :)

This is excellent! I was hoping that someone would choose this as their interpretation of "Labor." I am impressed! Of the two pics you posted, I think I like the black and white one best, I think it has a timeless quality to it. :) Good Job girl!

Love, Carly :)
