Wanted

The last couple of days the "Simple Abundance" entries have been about happiness. It talks about wanting cars, money, and stuff like that. I can't relate because I'm not all that materialistic. I'm a pretty simple person. But, I've realized the last couple of days what really makes me happy. Sunshine!!! Please bring it back. I'm tired of driving an extra hour to and from work because of road closures and increased traffic. I'm tired of hearing about mudslides and people getting caught in rushing water. I want my sun. I need my sun. :-(

Okay, so now that I've had my pity party, I'll remind myself that it could be worse. I'm safe, relatively dry, and okay.

I've been hearing about that rain you guys have been having (you are in southern CA, right?) Californians are not good at driving in "weather".  I hope your sun comes back soon!

Hope you get a little relief soon ... keep in mind it's near 80 degrees and sunny here today in South Florida if you really need a break.

Once again, due to the lovely El Nino, you guys are washing and sliding away, and we are having a "drought."  Your sun is up here...can't say it's as warm as it would be in southern CA, but at least it's cheerful.  I think I'd like to keep it for a few more days, if you don't mind...  Lisa  :-]

I've been thinking about you out there.  What an awful mess.  Does it help any to know that it has been nothing but GREY here on the other end of the country for the last 3 weeks??  Well, it has!!  If you find the sun, send some my way, ok?  I'll do the same.

In the meantime...here's a sunny  :)

I like the sun too only if it's not in my face or beating down upon me. But if it's bright out....there is nothing that compares to how that makes ya feel so good. So I hope you get your sun back really soon.

If we had any extra sunshine in this neighborhood I'd send you some. At least we don't have weather related road closures very often, but I too am so sick of driving to and from work in the dark I could just scream. At least the sun is moving the other way now. Hip Hip Hooray!!!!!!

Glad you are safe and dry.  A person can only live so long without sunshine then the mood goes downhill faster than the mudslides!

Hi Robbie,
OH YES, The Sun Makes or breaks my mood. I am much happier when the sun is Shining! I never really believed that the sun effected my moods until just a few years ago. I guess that is why it is good I live where the sun shines 300 days out of the year. :)
I hate even hate that it gets dark early during the winter. I am ready for the time change so that it stays light until 9.
Glad that YOU are safe And Relatively dry.
Kate~
