Happy Thanksgiving

I am one tired puppy.  I spent the bulk of the day cleaning and cooking. But, it was all worth it to get to share my Thanksgiving feast with two very special friends. Of course, being the rebel that I am, I didn't make turkey.  I made a rib roast.  Oh, but, I couldn't resist making some pumpkin pie.  I'll have to post the pic tomorrow though.  I'm too tired to mess with it tonight.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and will take a moment to reflect on all that we have to be grateful for.  For me, taking stock of what I have to be grateful for is a year-long process.  It's what gives me hope for the future.  I hope you can find that same inspiration when you count your blessings.

I would have rather have the roast. I picked at the Turkey. I just don't like it.
I do try to count my blessings just about every day.....Well, think of a few. Never fails to put things in perspective.

Well, for me, the turkey was probably the only thing I SHOULD have been eating...  Glad you had a happy day!  Lisa  :-]

You rebel, you. I'm sure it was wonderful.  Heck, sometimes the real thing to be thankful for is getting the people and the food in the same place at the same time. If it happens ON the actual holiday you get bonus points. Sounds like you racked up some great bonus points.

Hi,

As usual I am late posting over here since I am still not online much.  I love this entry as there is no rule that Turkey has to be for Thanksgiving.  You are not the one one who did not have Turkey.  I also didn't have Turkey.  We went out for Thanksgiving and had other types of entrees that were very tasty.  I had a great time.

What matters the most is the company you have on the day and gift of friendship.  I am very happy that you had a great time and hope you have a wonderful Holiday Season.  I will be back before then though.

Hugs,
Anita
