Hair today - Gone tomorrow.

Before:

After:

Don't you just love the immediacy of digital photography? The before shots were taken tonight at work before everyone left for the day. I stayed late working because my hair appointment wasn't until 8:15 pm and I planned on just going from work.

I'm sorry but you'll have to wait for the frontal shot. My hairdresser did a good job but if you think I look tired and "shiny" in the before shots, I look like death warmed over in the after shots.

I like the cut though. My head is tingling. I think it is in shock. I didn't get a perm. I still might but it appears that my hair has enough natural curl to do the job and I can always amplify it with some curlers. Doing my hair in the morning should be interesting. I bought a diffuser but it doesn't fit my hairdryer. Blatz!!!

WOW!!  I didn't realize your hair was that long.  I'm picturing the new do in my head, front view.  Yep!!  It's gorgeous!!!  And the long beautiful locks went to a great cause!  Robbie, you are such a giving person.  You are truly a angel on earth.  :-)
Have a good Friday!

oooooo Robbie, I love it!!
Your hair will be in shock for a few days so I definately wouldn't do the perm route for alittle while. It does look like you have enough natural curl though, love it!!

I am a total lover of women with long hair. But you look good with that hair cut. Can't wait to see it from the front with that big smile of yours. Smiles make any hair cut look great. Hugs Lanny

The first time you wash your hair, you'll be in shock at how muc less there is.  It looks absolutely adorable though.  You're bold to have so much cut at once.  I'm proud of you!

I bet it was odd to lose all that hair! I, too, am looking forward to the frontal view , face and hair! Your gift will be a blessing to someone. Enjoy your short hair! Margo

woo hoo!!  I think if I had all the hair you used to have, I'd have constant headaches from the weight.

I can already tell from the back that I love the short 'do.

Lightheaded?  I can not get over how long it was!  And full of body!  Love the new look.

OMG, I didn't realize your hair was so long.  My youngest daughter has hair that long.  I love your cut.  Let's see a front shot.  I bet you will LOVE this.  You're so brave!!!

When you said "long", you weren't kidding! The new cut looks so fun and easy to do. Plus, think of Locks of Love!
XOXO...Kelli

WOW! What a change!  Looks great!  I'll bet your head does feel lighter!

Oh WOW! I like what I see, so far! Just scrunch up your hair, upsidedown, as you dry it. It looks like it will be wavy enough without a perm. Nice! -B

Robbie,
My hair was as long as yours in the before
picture when I got it all cut off.  It was
definitely a shock to my system!
I can't wait for the front view, but from
the back it's adorable!!!!!
Lovish!

I love it! You will too once you get used to the weight of it, or lack thereof. Nice job, K-rob. All for a good cause, all around.

Wow!!!! It looks great!!!! I can't wait to see the front shot!!!!! Very cool to have some natural curl... I don't... I always need perm....

I am so impressed.  I haven't had the nerve to have my hair cut short since 7th grade (that's a LONG time ago).  I can't wait to see the front.  I hope you're LOVING it!!

I love it...at least from the back.  You definately do NOT need a perm.  Just use a little curl accelerator on it and scrunch it with your fingers then let it dry natural...you will be gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Can't wait to see the front view...

My gosh, Robbie, you really DID go for the big change!  It sure will be much easier to take care of.  Can't wait to see pictures with your face AND your new hair.  Lisa  :-]

Change is good!  I hope you are liking the new you, can't wait to see the front.  If it's anything similar, I felt great when I finally cut off my Aging Hippie Ponytail. (don't tell Amy or Marty!)  --Albert

Well, I, for one, LOVE it!  It was a shock when I first went from long to very short, but once you do, well...  let's just say there's no going back!  Gee, Robbie, been busy today?  LOL  You're way more of a dedicated reader, my friend, than I am.

Your hair looks very nice. I didn't realize it was so long. The donation was very thoughtful. Paula

awww!  it looks so nice...umm...from the back.  But, I have seen the pictures up top already :p  I just wanted to comment here first. :) It's a great cut, and your donation was a wonderful gift!  Do you get a picture of the wig when it's done, I have contemplated this before with myself.   My hair is pretty thick, which is why I keep it short....it's too much hair for me.  But, for someone else.... :D

Too, too, too cute!!  Love the cut.  Even when your hair was long, it had a lot of natural curl in it. The minute you cut it, it crimps up.  Mine does the same.  I have to blow-dry it straight.  A new cut feels soooo good.  I'm actually envious.  I haven't had my hair cut in a while.  My sister is coming in this weekend, I might have her do it.  I hate salons.  Ugh.  LOL
