I think the ones in the back of Toown and Country are amazingly accurate...there is a weekly report you can get by calling the number of the person who does theirs and it's great.... you can find her name on the horoscope page in the mag if you are interested next time you pass a magazine stand... It's the last page in the mag.Sydneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10085490655524570481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8658575.post-77115942155366158682008-11-24T06:43:00.000-08:002008-11-24T06:43:00.000-08:00Happy Birthday!!!!!Happy Birthday!!!!!Judith HeartSonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11950132362232278014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8658575.post-76300615377533435002008-11-23T18:21:00.000-08:002008-11-23T18:21:00.000-08:00Are you joining the Peace Corps? I do not wish to judge or mock the beliefs of others.

Random House defines superstition as such:

1. a belief or notion, not based on reason or knowledge, in or of the ominous significance of a particular thing, circumstance, occurrence, proceeding, or the like.
2. a system or collection of such beliefs.
3. a custom or act based on such a belief.
4. irrational fear of what is unknown or mysterious, esp. in connection with religion.
5. any blindly accepted belief or notion.

Hebrews sums up the definition of faith quite well and the definition can be applied to any religion because none of it is evidentiary: Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Is religion then not a blindly accepted belief?Robbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05146718095261185040noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8658575.post-90462264299004640292008-11-13T10:15:00.000-08:002008-11-13T10:15:00.000-08:00Stictly speaking, I don't think horoscopes are exa...Stictly speaking, I don't think horoscopes are exactly superstitions... Astrology is more like an ancient religious cult... :)

"May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back..." ...for whatever adventures are in store.Lisa :-]https://www.blogger.com/profile/02237889098638895390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8658575.post-9725029541039343182008-11-13T03:34:00.000-08:002008-11-13T03:34:00.000-08:00ooooh, I am a scorpio too..... great horoscope. She believed in it enough for both of us, so I still kinda love it. Especially when it tells me how great I am and what fab things are going to happen!

I also like those fortunes that come in individually wrapped Dove candies ~ I saved one that said, Don't think about it so much! and I thought, how can this candy know me so well?

And then I cried a little. ;D

I can dig it!Gigihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02651527173284826294noreply@blogger.com
